Carpenter Ants

If you are hearing gnawing sounds or seeing piles of sawdust and large black ants, you may have a carpenter ant infestation. Spraying pesticide yourself or taking things in to your own hands can make things more difficult to deal with in the long run because they because you destroy their pheromone paths, making them hard to find. Sometimes, they will even create multiple nests if they believe they are under attack. In order to start a nest in wood, the wood must have experienced water damage.
